Dodge County High Point Trip Report

The listed HP area is an easy road junction. I have to presume that the highway dept. built the road up,
both in laying a proper all-weather foundation for the road and to "crown" the road for good drainage.
In my opinion it is a man-made 1381'. I then went and visited each of the seven 1370'+ HP areas. The big
one containing the 1381' area is mostly cornfields, with at least two residences. One HP area south of the
big one, on the Sargeant map, is in the cornfield and noticeable. Of the two areas 1 mile to the east: north
is in a cornfield and not noticeable. It might be gone. South is another road-crown job. The three HP
areas NNE of Hayfield are cornfield HPs. The east is noticeable; the other two are not quite as noticeable.
