Faribault County High Point Trip Report
Date: December 27, 1997
Author: David Olson
I left Clear Lake IA in the late morning or about midday and headed north. I intended to conquer the HPs of
Faribault and Freeborn counties MN. These two HPs are near each other and only a short distance north of
the IA/MN border.
The Faribault county MN HP, the HP of the Kiester ridge, was a 1440+ foot high pasture.
Faribault county is a 'super-county', by Greg Slayden's definition.
Driving directions: From Kiester go 1.5 miles north, then 2.5 miles east.
