Kandiyohi County High Point Trip Report

From the junction of MN 23/40, go east 2.8 miles on MN 40 to house #12102, owned by Mr. and Mrs. Don Mosburg, who own the property containing the high point. I was directed there by the next neighbor to the east, whose home is due south of the highpoint, but the Mosburg's property runs north and then east from the road to include the highpoint. I was greeted by Mrs. Mosburg, who was very cordial, and very much aware of the highpoint. She showed me around her garden, and allowed me to park and hike. There is a walking and snowmobile path directly behind the house that leads up the hill. At the first major fork, having ignored a fainter path on the right, go right and follow the path to a sharp little summit, just off the trail past some snowmobile signs.
