Chariton County High Point Trip Report

This is a very easy one. From US 36 and MO 129, just 2 miles west of New Cambria, go south on 129 to
Chariton county line. Do NOT take road WW, which appears to be a shortcut but is actually a field road
and is gated at both ends. At about 4 miles, reach county line, and turn west onto good gravel county line road,
a.k.a. Birch St. Go west 1.6 on Birch, pass a road on the north side which is most likely WW coming through,
albeit gated by a chain. Continue 1.7 miles, and high ground is on left, in Chariton county.
There is a fence right here. Pull in to the left (south), and walk south 100 feet or so along line of cornfield
and grass field. High spot is along edge of the two fields.
