From the Natchez Trace National Parkway, go N on Miss. Hwy. 41 4.9 mi. to Toxish Rd. and turn left.
Go 3.1 mi. and turn R onto a gravel road (a cross-roads). Go about 0.2 mi. N on this road, just past a
humble dwelling, to a dirt road, posted , on the left (W). The ground on the left side of this lane just past
its beginning is the cohp, as you'll see by observation. Of interest, though not sight-leveled, is the razed
fire-tower site another 0.1 mi. up the road, around the curve, and on the right. Not obvious, the site is
found in the stubble field at the edge of the woods, and seems as high as the hp. BM "Troy" was
recovered, its witness sign (at least one) visible from the road.
