Currituck County Highpoint Trip Report

For the first area the gate was open, a house is mostly built on the lot next to
the highpoint and it is hard to tell if they are going to build another lot on
the highpoint.
For Luark Hill, Manson road had a sign on the left, "No Trespassing" -
but looked to be in a yard. A sign on the right was covered nearly to the top in sand,
I could barely make out the tops of the letters, "Private Drive Do not enter".
There was vehicle and foot prints all the way to the top, so maybe it's not that
big a deal. I didn't see anyone around to ask so I just bagged it quickly.
I parked at the lighthouse and biked and extra 1.4 miles to the roads end,
then the 2.5 miles out to the highpoint. There was only a few areas where the sand was
deep and I had to walk my mountain bike, otherwise the strand was a nice ride.
