Guilford County Highpoint Trip Report

This one was kinda fun. To make a long story short, the topo map makes sense.
From the county border sign on NC-150, you can take a compass bearing (187
degrees) to track the county line. There is also another county sign within the
subdivision south of NC-150 that has been referenced in other trip reports, so
you can also use the two signs to triangulate. The ridge (as it were) is still
evident and looks to be in a lot just about 40 feet south of the T-intersection
of Autumn Harvest Road and Harvest Ridge Road. This lot is staked but no
development has begun on the property yet.
I would say that following the edge of the woods as described in an earlier
report will not get you anywhere near the high point. It's possible the wood
line has been changed to accommodate the housing development.
