The unmarked dirt road mentioned by Mike Schwartz is VA 612. There is a fork at 1.3 miles. Go left. At 2.5 miles, park under the power lines and either walk up the gated road with many rocks labeled "oil pan" or walk the shorter way up the power line to the top.
