Dunn County High Point Trip Report

Since I'll likely never come back to this area, here is some help for Dunn county. I noticed all 11 areas are along the ridge in the Killdeer Mountains, and hoped to drive up the ridge road, although a dotted line on the topo. The gravel road is reached by driving through Oakdale on 4th St. NW off ND22 just east of the Killdeer Mountains. The gravel road to the top looks good, but is gated and locked. A sign on the gate says 'The Veigels', so contact them and good luck if you want to drive up to these. There are two communication towers along the ridge.
