Walsh County High Point Trip Report

From Nekoma, ND in Cavalier Co, drive south on Hwy 1 for 2 miles. Turn left onto Cavalier County Road 35 (gravel) and go approximately 3 miles to the Walsh county line just after crossing the railroad tracks. The highpoint is 3.0 miles after crossing the railroad tracks, on the right side of the road (the county line is in the middle of the road). Open the door and drag your foot on the gravel, or get out and walk on the right side of the road. A higher hill is on the left of the road, but is in Cavalier county. The roads are in square miles, so distance is easy to keep up with.
