Arthur County Highpoint Trip Report

From the intersection of Route 2 and Route 61 just east of Hyannis, drive 20.5 miles south on Route 61 to a
ranch road going west. This is 0.6 mile south of the county line. Drive west about 5 miles to the Rothwell Ranch.
Terry Rothwell was very friendly and gave me permission to hike to the highpoint on their ranch.
Continue past the ranch buildings for about 1 mile to a point where the farm track clearly bends south.
Park here and hike about a mile northwest to the highpoint area. The actual county highpoint is an obvious
mound just south BM Enil. BM Enil is not in the ground and RM2 may have been disturbed as well.
These marks are just north of the county line in Grant County.
The Arthur County highpoint is the contour about 100 feet southeast of BM Enil.
