Loup County High Point Trip Report

From NE91 east of Brewster, drive 5 miles east of the Blaine-Loup county line to Dry Valley Road. Turn right and drive 12 1/2 miles on a road with a lot of right angle turns to a junction that is northwest of the hps. The owner of the land lives south of this junction. We were unable to contact him, but had a long talk with his brother, who owns the land to the north.

Our route was from a quarter mile east of the junction, walking south and southeast to the 2 hps. The southern one has 2 reference marks for the "Howard" BM, but we couldn't find the BM.
