From Garden State Parkway exit 117A, right at top of ramp onto southbound Lloyd Road. Set odometer to zero. Left at 1.1 miles onto Church Road, which becomes Bethany Road at 1.5 miles. Right at Hillcrest Road at 1.8 miles. Right at Holmdel Road at 2.7 miles. Left into Lucent Technologies facility at 3.3 miles. Follow driveway uphill and park in "additional parking" area. You can drive up the hill, but run the risk of being locked in.

Walk to summit, which holds an impressive collection of historic radars, many with descriptive information. Highest point at north end of hill. Gain: 60 feet.
