Ocean County Highpoint Trip Report
three areas (230+ ft)

Stump Tavern area - There is now a sizeable housing development on North Stump Tavern.
Stay to the right at the fork and park when you get a chance.
Walk through the woods to the very sandy road then head toward the crest.
There are now ATV tracks going all over the hill. Pick a spot and call it your own.
This is a state Wildlife Management Area area, so it 1) shouldn't be developed;
and 2) should be avoided in hunting season.
Tick Hill - The undergrowth was a bit heavier that I had expected but the HP was
otherwise obvious. I am at a loss to understand why this large area between two
developments does not contain a house. Just look up and say, "Thank you".
Tower Hill - Walked up the driveway to get permission but, since sleeping dogs
were lying, this became a touch and go.
