Lincoln County High Point Trip Report

First thing in the morning I hiked the well marked trails (15 and 25) up to Lookout Mountain. From there it
was an easy matter to follow the ridge to Sierra Blanca Peak (Otero cohp). The "knife-edge" ridge at
11,600 was actually easy. Just a few feet below the ridge on the west side is an easy to follow use trail.
As the summit is approached, it is possible to traverse out to the west if you want to avoid rock scrambling.
There is a register in a white mailbox near the summit.
I descended via Apache Bowl and the Deep Freeze ski runs.
