After looking at access from west and north, we chose the official access from the east, where we only made it to 6600' before the noises coming from under the car got to be too troublesome to bear. BM Grande at the summit was marked 8722'. Several towers and shacks are at the top, accessed by a 4WD road from the ranch to the north.
