Bronx County High Point Trip Report

This approach is based on a Richmond-Kings-New York-Bronx-Queens circuit.

From Fort Tryon or Bennett Park in Manhattan, work your way east and downhill to Broadway. Take Broadway north into the Bronx and turn left under the elevated subway structure at 230th Street. After a few blocks, bear right onto Riverdale Avenue, the main road going uphill. As Riverdale approaches the Henry Hudson Parkway, get onto the northbound service road ("frontage road" in other regions). Turn right at W 246th Street into the private Fieldston Community. Make a left onto Fieldston Road, another left onto W 250th St., and a right onto Goodridge Road to the dead end. See my previous report for additional details.
