Bronx County Highpoint Trip Report

This CoHP needs an explanation. Arriving at the gate (Saturday morning) it was
locked and the area very secure. After checking around to see if I could get in,
over, or around the fence to no avail, I retrieved a padded furniture blanket
from my truck, laid it on the ground and slid under the gate and proceeded to
the highpoint.
There are several houses in various stages of construction, one was steel
studded, and I must say it will be a multimillion dollar home. There were only
3 or 4 small areas of land that hasn't been disturbed. If they keep leveling
off the high points Manhattan will need a new high point.
On the way up, I saw a pickup truck with doors open and no one around,
so I continued to do the highpoints of the undisturbed land. On the way down,
I heard voices by the pickup truck which was by a large caterpillar tractor.
I looked a little closer and saw 2 lower-half bodies protruding from under the
engine compartment. They never saw me so I continued on my way out and back
under the gate. Mission completed.
