Delaware County Highpoint Trip Report

I lucked out on this, Bearpen Mountain New York State Department of Environmental Conservation workers were busy grading and cutting blow-down trees near the cabin on the ridge. They mentioned that this very sturdy cabin will be torn down in the near future. On my return from the summit, close to 3PM, the workers were loading their truck with their equipment to return to the trail head. I was lucky enough to hitch a ride.
