Park at Petersburg Pass on NY Route 2. From the parking area, facing the trail and information
signboard, go to the far right corner (NW) of the lot to the white blazed Taconic Crest trailhead. DO
NOT take the more obvious trails leading uphill from just to the left of the signboard.
Look for white blazes starting 100 feet up the trail, and soon pass a sign-in register. The trail climbs the
shoulder of Mount Raimer, descends, climbs an unnamed ridge, descends to Berlin Pass with a full view
of Berlin Mountain, then climbs the northwest ridge to Berlin's summit. Excellent view of Mt Greylock.
