two areas on Todt Hill, 400 feet north of St. Francis Seminary (410+ ft)

From the Staten Island Expressway/I-278, take the Todt Hill Road exit. Go south on Todt Hill Road to the intersection with Ocean Terrace, continue straight ahead, and look for a gravel pullout on the right (west) that is gated a few feet in. Pull in and park, carefully crossing over a low curb. The gate is posted, prohibiting access to the large towers visible through the woods. The area around the tower has been extensively disturbed, and highest ground appears to be just south of the towers at or in the woods. It is not necessary to approach the tower fence. Continue south through woods and brush across a low swale that contains a yellow-blazed woods road, then ascend slightly to the next rise to the south. Hand leveling indicated the southern knob was higher.
