Here's the last word (yeah, right) on the access roads. After Dent Road crosses GC 10 and becomes Sant
(sic) Tompkins Road, the next fork, where you bear left, is signed as Schrader Road. This road ends at
Marvin-Rion Road, and at that junction is signed as Albert Slater Road. Turn right on Marvin-Rion (GC
11), which in less than 1/2 mile ends at Huntersfield Road. From there follow directions in the
Case/Galvin reports. I started hiking from the upper point Dave Galvin referred to, where a woods road
goes off to the left. Hike downhill on that road for about 300 feet before picking up the aqua trail blazes,
and from there follow the blazes to the summit. The gate was unlocked this date, but the road is not fit for
passenger cars.
