From the center of Damascus (intersection of US 62 and Indiana Route 534) drive east on US 62 for almost
1.2 miles. Be watchful for a "lane" that goes north between a brick house and a tan house. This drive is just
east of the southern intersection of Shelton Road and US 62, and is about 0.15 mile east from the northern
intersection of Seacrist Road with US 62. I knocked at both houses, but no one was home except the dog.
I continued north on the lane, which appears to be a field access road. About 0.25 mile in, I parked near
some old buildings and continued to walk north, crossing an obvious ridge that runs southwest to northeast
across the cornfield. While the ground is high here, the highest spot is to the northeast near some trees.
Either continue to follow the path, which soon turns to the right and then bends northeast, or you can simply
angle across the field to this spot.

From the northern intersection of Route 9 and Route 14 in the center of Salem, drive east on Route 14 for
2.6 miles to Beaver Creek Road. This is the second left turn that you encounter immediately after
descending the hill on Route 14. Turn left and drive north on Beaver Creek Road for 1.4 miles to Roller Road.
Turn right on Roller and in about 0.25 mile watch for a blue house and a white house on your left (north).
The highest ground appears to be in the yard of the white house (# 7962), to the eastern side.
The actual contour is quite large here. The radio tower shown on the topo map is no longer evident, and pasture
seems to dominate on the south side of the road. I searched around both sides of the blue house for BM 1314
but did not find it. No one was at home at either house on the day I visited.
