Portage County High Point Trip Report

3 areas 7/8 mile west of Hiram (1340+ ft)

OH 82 crests the hill about one mile west of Hiram. Park in the water tank driveway. The largest of the two points south of the highway is in the field behind the water tank. Follow mowed and cut paths south, downhill and then up to the small but obvious small southern knoll. For the point north of the highway, cross on foot and bushwhack directly into the woods. High ground appeared closer to the highway than indicated on the topo. New private home construction is going to complicate access.
