Kiowa County Highpoint Trip Report

For the Cooper BM area (the eastern area) I didn't use either Bill Schuler's route
(which he has written up under the heading "King Mountain", but the directions are for Cooper BM)
or the Olson-Martin Route.
I drove east on E 1490 Road off of OK 19/54 a mile south of Cooperton,
parked just west of a water tower and bushwhacked to the top.
I found Cooper BM and a witness mark. I agree with Bob Martin as to which rock is highest.
For the King Mountain area I parked at the blue sign as Olson-Martin did and bushwhacked to the top.
1,650 feet of elevation gain for the two climbs.
