Muskogee County High Point Trip Report

We note that this one is listed as a virgin and yet Jeff Runder has a trip report.
On US 62 1/2 mile west of the Muskogee-Cherokee Line we drove south to a sharp turn to the east and parked.
Bushwhacked through oak, beech and cedar (Jeff is right, they are not juniper) south to fairly impressive cliff
band which we walked below a good distance east before we found a break taking us south and west to
summit in hard wood. We swept away considerable moss and leaves, but even with exact USGS GPS coordinates
for the BM we couldn't find it. But we certainly were in the right place.
