Tillman County High Point Trip Report

Texas Hwy 25 north does not cross the Red River, so I had to go further west. I stopped for a Photo of the Red River, then north to US hwy 62 and west to the Tillman county OK HP. I turned off onto the old highway (unsigned) and parked at the entrance to a rock/sand pit northwest of the HP knoll. Over the neglected barb-wire gate and left around the pit and up the knoll, easy. Crossing to the radio tower is unnecessary. Direct HP to tower it is near-class 3. Afterwards I continued west on the old highway through Headrick OK, stopping on the vintage North Fork bridge to get a photo.
