This is close and easy from US 82. The easy-to-describe directions are to turn off US 62 to go into
Headrick OK, on (unsigned) old US 62. Continue through Headrick east across the North Fork of the Red River.
When you are nearly back to new US 62 park at an abandoned sand-pit on the right, south.
The HP is the nearer hill rising above the far side of the sand pit.
