Tulsa County High Point Trip Report

I was apprehensive about the access and navigating on this one, and my fears were justified.
A DeLorme atlas would have helped get from the Turnpike on to the proper road,
but I managed to find it, 225 Ave heading south. It was paved and had a lot of traffic,
this is in the far suburbs of Tulsa. Eventually I managed to locate myself on the topo map,
and headed west off 225 Ave on to 38 (?) street. The topo map also shows a double dashed
dirt road heading to the HP from the 225 and 38 corner. This did not look at all promising.
In any case, I went west 1/2 mile on 38 street. It climbed a 100 foot hill,
which seemed impressive after the flat HP I'd been working with lately.
I parked the car right at the top of the hill, by a gate and neighborhood watch sign.
A new house was a few hundred feet NW of here, I headed N towards the HP.
Wandered around the flattish HP area, and then located BM Keystone, dated 1938,
with nice green patina set in concrete. I built a nice cairn & left register.
On my "descent" I opted to follow the big high transmission line shown on the map.
