Bradford County High Point Trip Report

radio tower on Armenia Mountain 1 1/4 miles east of Covert (2440+ ft)

Off PA 14 in Alba, about 4 miles north of Canton, go NW on Alba Mountain Road. Fork right at 1.6 miles. Turn right at 1.7; reach towered summit at 3.3 miles. Highest ground is hard to determine. I crawled under the tower fence and walked the high ground within the fence. I then hopped the gate into an adjacent small pasture to the north. Past the far left corner of the pasture, just into the woods, is a possibly natural knob that seems as high as the tower environs.
