Delaware County High Point Trip Report
Chester County line at intersection of Exeter and Valley Forge roads near Wayne (500+ ft)
Date: December 27, 2002
Author: Dan Case
From I-476 Exit 16 take US 30 west a couple of miles, through the heavily built-up downtown areas of
Wayne and Radnor, to the Sugartown Road intersection at the county line. Turn left. Follow Sugartown
for just under a mile or so past the complex on the right as it curves away from the county line,
then back to it (marked a sign, but fear not - you have not crossed it, just reached it again).
At the Valley Forge Road blinker, you will see signs again indicating the county line. Turn left again and the
hump ahead described by Mike Schwartz should be rather obvious and close. Area is well-developed and residential.
Park near the three-way intersection with Exeter Road at height of land and walk however much of the
county line in the middle of the road it takes to satisfy you. 50 - 60 feet should probably do it.
