Lackawanna County High Point Trip Report

The description by Michael Schwartz is good, but the exit from I-84 is now number 8 (old exit 4) and is called Mt. Cobb, Hamlin. Many of the Interstate exits in Pennsylvania have been renumbered, but the old number is usually posted at the bottom with a small sign. The driving directions are good, but I found the road blocked by a locked gate next to the power lines. I parked there and walked up the good road which only lengthens the hike by half mile or so. The highest point is difficult to determine after much wandering through the brush.
