Lancaster County High Point Trip Report
200 ft SW of the northernmost point in the county (1,180+ ft)

From PA 897 just NW of Blainsport, take Texter Mtn. Road. Bear right at 2.6 miles, and reach crest at
3.1 miles. High point is on property of Ann Lind Stables. Ms. Lind agreed to let me wander the horse
pasture. The hill crests about 150 feet from the road. If you drive a bit further down the road, the markers
for the Berks/Lebanon line (roadside) and the Berks/Lancaster/Lebanon tri-county point (on lawn) can be seen.
From their relative positions, the Lancaster/Lebanon county line appears to go right over the crest
of the hill, which would place it in the horse pasture. It's no problem to walk the entire area to ensure
stepping on the high point.
