Mercer County Highpoint Trip Report

I got different mileages than Mike Schwartz did; 4.5 miles put me pretty much southeast of Hendersonville. I believe what you want is closer to 3.0 miles from the turn off of US62. Look for a distinct logging road to the right and an overgrown road to the left.

With that said, things to the north of Hendersonville Road are overgrown and the area farthest north is clearly the highest and was obvious. The swamp Mike mentioned has fallen victim to the drought but you can see where it would have been.

I suspect the northernmost point is the highest but I cannot prove it.
