Mifflin County High Point Trip Report

At bottom of long downgrade on US 322 south from the Centre/Mifflin County line, turn right at sign for Penn Roosevelt State Park, just past the runaway truck ramp. Take a section of bypassed US 322 for 0.1 miles to a right turn at Stone Creek Road. Take Stone Creek 1.7 miles to sign for the Indian Trail. Hike very steep trail to the ridge crest. Bushwhack left to not very obvious highest ground. I felt that the trail passed closer to the true summit than shown on the topo. Note: There may not be direct access from northbound US 322, in which case it would have to be taken all the way to summit before a U-turn could be made to return southbound.
