Park at the Appalachian Trail crossing in Wind Gap, just off the PA 33 at the crest of the gap. Hike NE
on the A.T., which climbs steeply initially, then levels off for a long level stretch until it crosses a gravel
road. Go right on the gravel road, and follow it to the broad flat, multi-towered summit. Highest ground
appears to be near one of the towers. On the return, for an easier walk downhill, stay on the gravel road,
which is paved near the bottom, and comes out at the locked gate immediately uphill from the A.T.
trailhead. When we returned via the road, the gate was open, which could turn the hike into a drive up,
but a water company truck soon came off the hill, and the employee re-locked the gate. Beware of temptation.
