I tried this one back in the summer using the Pritz Road approach. I encountered no trouble from neighbors etc.... even though I saw a few posted signs. There were even some cars ahead of me on the dirt road on the way up. I soon found out why. As I neared the summit I discovered someone was hosting a wedding reception there. Not wanting to be a party crasher, I turned around and headed back. This road is very narrow with a drop-off on one side and a wall on the other. There isn't much room to move if you encounter another vehicle heading towards you.

Today I tried the Fishing Creek Road approach from the east and encountered no trouble. Since it was hunting season, the gate mentioned in previous reports was open, so I drove right up. However, this road is definitely not for passenger cars. Truck or 4WD only!
