Tioga County High Point Trip Report

1/4 mile NW of Beecher Hollow on Cedar Mountain (2,543 ft)

From the Tioga/Potter County line, go east about one mile on US 6 to SR 3001. Proceed south through Watrous, cross bridge at 0.4 miles, pass through Marshlands at 2.6 and continue straight ahead onto Gaines Road. Pass through crossroads at 3.9. At 5.4 keep straight ahead at sign for Cedar Mountain Road. At 6.6 fork left onto Mill Run Road. Very near the crest at 8.6 miles, a gated dirt road turns sharp right and goes to the summit and radio towers. The dirt road starts near spot elevation 2,421 and is not shown on the topo. I could not find the foot trail shown on the map.
