Venango County Highpoint Trip Report

I hadn't planned this one on this trip but to avoid going back through Meadsville (don't get me started), this one more or less fell on the route.

SR2023 mentioned by Mike Schwartz is now signed as Powell Road (T-633), so I missed it going east on 157. The HP area is being mined for "non-coal materials" according to the mining permit posted on the dirt road. Gravel, I suspect. Thus, there is no gate and the HP can just about be driven to if you are brave. I was not.

Probably don't want to do this one during the week.
