Warren County Highpoint Trip Report

I followed Mike Schwartz's report. I missed the turn off US 62 into Akely but realized the error of my ways when I got to the "Welcome to New York" sign. I agree with Mike that the high ground is near a trailer/cabin structure, although I thought it was actually a little southwest of this. Neither this structure nor the A-frame west of it appeared to be occupied at this time. West of the A-frame is a driveway going south into the woods and bearing the sign, "Camp High Point Elevation 2231 feet".
