This page is an index to maps portraying the cells of prominent European summits. Continental Europe supports 98 ultra (1,500+ meter prominence) mountains. There are nine ultra summmits in Atlantic islands associated with Europe; and twelve ultra summits in European Russia and the Caucasian states.
A discussion of the proper boundaries of Europe is available with prominence as a key consideration.
