Easiest County Highpoints by State *

* compiled by Ron Tagliapietra

These highpoints are easiest relative to the majority of other county highpoints in the given state. In particular, for certain states (e.g. Nevada and especially Alaska) the easiest county highpoints listed here are not easy on an absolute scale.

Here "easy" refers to easy to drive/ride to; easy to locate the highpoint; easy navigation and easy access. Maps and other standard gear are still recommended.

In many states several "easy" highpoints exist by this standard. Thus one may argue, perhaps soundly, that this single-county-per-state list is non meaningful. More comprehensive, so-called "gimme" lists are available for states beginning in A-M and for states beginning in N-Z.
