Used several trip reports. Hopped the fence to avoid the poison ivy, then tiptoed through more of it, to a second fence, which had a large hole in it. From here, the abandoned asphalt road can still be followed uphill as a very faint gravel path, with occasional pieces of asphalt still evident. This path leads to high ground, with more asphalt remnants and whitish rock outcrops.
