I had done this one several years ago but my daughter had not (current category leader of "Most COHPS Driven to With a Learner's Permit"). So, while doing the college tour thing, we just took a small detour to get her 8th state HP.

Access issues were no problem; and we got a chance for a pleasant chat with the property/access owner, Mr Mosley. Followed the map at the trailhead on an easy walk out and back.
