Note that you should turn left from SC 28 onto Tower Road (not the spot signed for Parsons Lake farther north) and then drive past the large parking area for Parsons Mountain OHV. Continue to the unsigned gated gravel road on the right. At the top, the BM in front of the sign has an arrow to the BM on the true HP just beyond the fire tower into the trees. Great view from tower.
