an attempt

The sandy road toward the hp from the state line was gated but not posted. We walked down it to just before the curve and found a side road/trail going in the right direction. This ended at about the right spot, but it was dark and we could not see very well. We did see a spot that went up a bit to the left and did that, but it didn't look like it went up enough to be the HP. Fred Lobdell has the first ascent but has not posted his report. I am assuming that we were not there.
