Jasper County High Point Trip Report
4 spots (105-110 ft)
Author: Ron Tagliapietra
I tried two approaches, but both were signed "private road." The northern access sign identified the
property owner as the Mulberry Island Plantation. The western access also mentioned a plantation, the same
one I think. Since it was getting dark, I did not try to get permission, but if all four are on the same
plantation, this should be possible. The western access is signed at US 601 (just east of the spot elevation
of 82). I continued north on 601 into Hampton County to Stokes and went east on the gravel road.
No intersection at spot 94, but there was a sharp left there, and I did come out in Stafford. About halfway to
Stafford was the northern access sign.
