Cumberland County High Point Trip Report

This one is a drive up. You need to have a good map to find it though. After you get on top there is a FAA radio communications facility on the mountain top. It is not manned. There is a fence that appears to go completely around the top but if you start walking along the fence it soon ends. From there you can scramble up about 5 feet to the top.

After you get on top there is a huge flat area that is about 100 yards across and in the middle of this is something that looks like a space ship with antennas all around it. There are some very nice views from various places around the top. I don't know how much of the top was removed but this may not be Cumberland Counties highest point anymore. The work in this areas appears to have been done about 10 to 15 years ago.
