DeKalb County Highpoint Trip Report

Ken Oeser's 1999 trip report is still mostly valid, except the people at the house mentioned in Ken's report no longer own the access. A house is under construction part way up the hill in the pasture. Access to this house is on Banks Road, just south of the intersection with Half-Acre Road. I drove up the long winding gravel road to the home site and spoke with the owner who was working on the house.

He mentioned the previous owners had told him about visitors to the highpoint behind his house and allowed me to access the highpoint. The highpoint itself was access my crossing several electric fences and one barb wire/electric fence. All pastures were filled with cattle.
