Marion County High Point Trip Report

The first High Point is in an Laager Youth Camp where Grundy, Marion and Sequacthie County meet. I have already describe that one along with Andy Martin.

The second HP is not far from the first one. To reach the second one you turn down a logging road next to Lockhart Fire Tower (Grundy County, TN HP) then go about a quarter of a mile on this road and you will see another road on the right. Park your vehicle next to this road unless you have a four wheel drive vehicle because there is a huge mud hole at the start of this road. About 100 yard past the mud hole the road forks.

The area around the fork appears to be the high point. There as been much logging activity in this area with lots of dirty piles and tree stumps sticking up. So I climbed several of these to ensure that I got the HP.
